I like this particular motel and despite the lack of the additional amenities such as continental breakfast and a coffee maker in the room, I look forward to visiting family in the area again and staying at this motel to see how the owner is progressing.
Don't ever come here! Bed Bugs I stayed in room 28. My boyfriend and I went to tell them that our son was in that same bed and had waken him up. He told me not to speak. Excuse you so I told him about himself. They told us to wait til 1:30 for another room. I don't even want it. I've never even seen bedbugs but I'd be damn if they travel back with me. JUST DONT COME HERE
My first time staying at this hotel and I find it to be very accommodating. It was clean, quiet and the Manager, both day and night were very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will most certainly stay here again.
This motel 6 was formerly an independent motel. While the parking lot is large and there is plenty of parking for trucks, there is also good parking for family vehicles, and it was clean, as was the building exterior. I checked in and found the manager/owner to be extremely friendly and customer oriented. He made sure I knew that there was coffee in the lobby in the morning. I found the room to be clean and in good order, just like in the pictures online. The room is dated but is clean and functional. The wall unit air conditioner/heater is a newer unit and is hung in the back wall rather than under the window. I say this because it was MUCH better than other higher-priced motels that my wife and I have stayed in. Now, the room wasn't perfect; something was stuck to the carpet right by the bathroom door and the fridge had about a half-inch of frost/ice in the freezer compartment. But the fridge and microwave were clean and functional and all the lights worked and I found no signs of bedbugs. They also have a problem with fruit flys, but it wasn't enough to be annoying. The bathtub and sink were clean enough to eat off of. which is more than I can say about other Motel 6's I've stayed in over the years. There wasn't even the usual gap under the door.
This is by far the worst Motel 6 I have ever stayed in. We booked two nights. Got a refund for the second night and left. I could not stand the idea of even getting under the sheets of the extremely old motel/hotel bed. I would not even let my bare feet touch the carpet. The room smelled of old cigarettes and very strong incense. I love Motel 6 and have stayed at plenty locations over my lifetime that were just great. But this... this was a disgusting flee bag of a place. I have never written a review about a motel/hotel room before. This was my first, because I don't want anyone else to have to suffer this place. The only reason we stayed one night, was because we were exhausted - and, still didn't sleep. The room was too gross to sleep. The end.
The worst location that should not be associated with the Motel 6 name. Dirty sheets, floor, bathroom and the management doesn't understand English. Should give us an option to use zero rather than a one star.
